Engineering × Science.

Nicolas Duval and Nicolas Savva met at Autodesk, on the Core Rendering Team, working on physically-based, photorealistic rendering: the science of simulating light and matter faithfully enough to fool the eye. Today they apply that same rigor to simulating human behavior faithfully enough to train robots.

Software architect at Autodesk and Adobe. Built the infrastructure that scaled Tinkercad and Adobe Express to tens of millions of users. Leads Synthium's vision and the data engine.

Science

Nicolas Savva

Co-founder & CTO

Cornell MS/PhD in computer vision and Fulbright scholar. Internationally recognized expert in computer graphics, and an OpenUSD contributor for robotics simulation. Drives the technical roadmap and IP.
